Sweatband.com is a leading UK sports and fitness equipment retailer established in 1999 by co-founder Maz Darvish. Originally founded to provide access to equipment that makes people sweat – hence the name – the business was a subsidiary of an advertising technology company until 2008. Headquartered in Milton Keynes, Sweatband.com has served over 2 million customers, stocking an extensive selection including cardio machines, strength training equipment, yoga accessories, racket sports gear, and nutrition products. In September 2023, the company was acquired by Dyaco UK to create a global powerhouse for fitness products. Founder Maz Darvish remained a shareholder while moving on to launch AI startup Cognition Hub.
