Original BTC is a British lighting manufacturer founded in 1990 by Peter Bowles in Oxfordshire. Pioneer of using bone china in lighting, they invested in preserving British manufacturing by acquiring a Stoke-on-Trent factory in 2002. Still family-run with Peter's children now directors, they also own heritage brands Davey Lighting (1885) and Beadlight. Winner of the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade, their iconic Hector collection and commitment to British craftsmanship have made them a global presence with showrooms in France, USA, Germany, and Taiwan.
