Hobbies Ltd is a UK model and hobby supplies company founded in 1895 in Dereham, Norfolk by John Henry Skinner, who found a niche in fretworking supplies. Dominating the fretwork supplies market with Hobbies Weekly providing constant new designs, the original company went into liquidation in 1968 but was relaunched by Ivan Stroulger, the former Supply Manager at Dereham. Now based at The Raveningham Centre, just 12 miles south of Norwich, Hobbies stocks over 5,000 products including model railway sets from Hornby, Peco, and Gaugemaster, plus model boat kits, remote control planes, Revell kits, and dolls houses. Open Monday to Saturday, they've been supplying model makers and enthusiasts with quality kits, accessories, tools, components, and guidebooks for over 125 years.
