Banwood is a family-owned lifestyle brand with a passion for creating high-end cycling products for children. Founded in 2016 by Juan Manuel Torralvo Castro and Frida Jonsby, who met in Germany where they discovered that Frida's eye for design and Juan's family history of manufacturing made a perfect match. The founders were searching for a bike for Juan's niece but didn't like what they found, so they began working on their own line - a mini version of a classic, Scandinavian-design bicycle. Based in Berlin with roots in Scandinavian and German design traditions, Banwood crafts scooters, bikes, and helmets that feel as good as they look. Banwood's beautiful creations are influenced by Scandinavian design with a touch of mid-century charm. Over the years, they have added the Classic pedal bike, scooters, trikes, and skateboards to their range, all in the same cohesive colour palette. Their products are designed for children aged 2.5 to 7 years. At Banwood, safety and quality are paramount. Their products are designed with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring they meet the highest safety standards. Each product features sturdy steel frames and durable aluminium handlebars, providing robust structures that can withstand daily use. Banwood has collaborated with prestigious brands including Liberty London, Anthropologie, Bonton, contemporary artist Marest, and even designed an exclusive limited-edition bike with the iconic French lamp house Rispal. These partnerships have established Banwood as a premium choice for stylish, safety-conscious parents.
