Simply Be is a UK plus-size fashion retailer launched in 1999 to cater for women aged 25-45 in sizes 12-32, becoming a vocal champion of size inclusivity and body positivity. Part of the N Brown Group - whose oldest company JD Williams was founded in 1859 by James David Williams - Simply Be offers diverse, trendy, and inclusive clothing celebrating every body. The brand operated physical stores throughout the UK until 2018 when all bricks and mortar locations closed to focus on online retail. Now part of a group with over 6 million customers and 3,500 employees, Simply Be continues championing diversity through fashion. N Brown was listed on the London Stock Exchange until being taken private by the Alliance family in February 2025.
