Longchamp

Longchamp is a French luxury leather goods company founded in Paris in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain. The family-owned brand pioneered luxury leather-covered pipes before expanding into handbags in 1971. Longchamp is famous for Le Pliage, the foldable nylon and leather bag designed by Philippe Cassegrain in 1993, which has become a global icon. Operating in 80 countries through 1,500 retail outlets, Longchamp remains one of the last family-owned leather goods manufacturers in France, valued at $1.5 billion. The brand offers handbags, luggage, shoes, and ready-to-wear, recently collaborating with British heritage brand Gloverall for Fall 2025.
