Waterdrop (UK)

Waterdrop is a hydration brand founded in Vienna in 2016 when Martin had the idea on a flight to Singapore. Together with his brother Henry and friend Christoph, they created the Microdrink – a small, sugar-free cube that adds fruity flavour to water using compressed fruit and plant extracts. Entering Europe in 2019 and the US in 2021, Waterdrop raised $70 million in 2022 and now employs 400+ people worldwide. Their products save up to 98% of plastic compared to bottled drinks, with just one cube flavouring 12-Pack boxes containing less plastic than a single bottle cap. Through their Plastic Bank partnership, Waterdrop collects 50,000 plastic bottles from the environment monthly.
