The well-loved and well known Gladioli is a fantastic choice for all gardens, providing colour, height and texture to your beloved outdoor space. ‘Midnight Mix’ is a truly mesmerising mix providing a mystical mix of purples, lilacs and creamy white blooms that will perform around tall green shard like stems! Plant gladioli in groups at 14-day intervals to extend their flowering season, and enjoy their fabulous blooms all summer long. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 15cm (6"). In autumn, allow the foliage to die back naturally before lifting the corms and cleaning them of soil and any remaining stems. Dry them in a well ventilated position for 2 weeks before storing them in a frost-free location for the winter. When growing gladioli in mild areas with particularly well drained soil, it may not be necessary to lift the corms. Apply a dry mulch of bark chips or leaf mould in autumn to protect the corms from cold, wet weather.
