Thompson & Morgan Stocks Virginian Mixed 1 Packet (1000 Seeds), Purple

An easy to grow annual plant, Virginia Stock 'Mixed' is the perfect gap filler for your borders! Also known as Malcolmia maritima, these seeds produce blooms in a range of colours, including lilac pink and white, which blend together beautifully and exude a rich fragrance. Expect a stunning floral show just four weeks after sowing! With a long flowering period, blend with other Stocks for a stunning display. Direct sow Virginia Stock seeds outdoors where they are to grow from March to May. Choose a position in full sun on any well drained soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow seeds thinly, at a depth of 6mm (¼in) in drills spaced 15cm (6”) apart and cover the seed with its own depth of soil to exclude light. Water the ground regularly, especially during dry periods. Germination usually takes 14 - 21 days. When Virginia Stock seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out to 15cm (6”) apart. Water regularly until plants are fully established.
