Skimmia japonica ‘Rubella’ - Rosettes of glossy, aromatic leaves, punctuated by red buds through the winter, with an explosion of potent, fragrant white blossoms appearing by spring. Photinia x fraseri ‘Red Robin’ - A lower level of bright green foliage which contrasts with new, glossy crimson leaves above, joined by clusters of cream blooms in spring.
