Salad Leaves Stir Fry Mix is a delicious mix to add to your stir fry, mixed salads and also sandwiches. Sow seeds all year round on your kitchen windowsill or greenhouse, providing crops every month! A quick and easy grow under 30 days during the summer. Add a good source of vitamins A, C and K folate. This mix includes Mizuna, Canton Pak Choy, Red Mustard, Teasel Greens and Cavola Nero. Spread: 15cm (at maturity) Supplied as 500 Salad Seeds Salad Leaves can be sowed outdoors in the summer or in an unheated greenhouse during the autumn and winter period. Grow seeds in a fertile but moist soil in sun or semi shade. Sow seeds thinly in pots or trays, at a depth of 1cm in drills 38cm apart in the soil. Provide regular water, and thin out between plants to stop weeds establishing. During the dry periods may cause a bolt so watering is particularly important during the 2 weeks before harvesting. Add a thick mulch around the plants to help maintain moisture in the soil. Harvest the small salad leaves when required by plucking a few leaves from each plant.
