Pure white, semi-double flowers mature to a delicate pink blush or palest powder blue, depending on your soil pH. Even as the large rounded blooms fade, this elegant variety creates a splash of autumn colour as the leaves turn to red and yellow. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich, fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding in plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply.
