Thompson & Morgan Floribunda Rose Absolutely Fabulous 1 Bare Root Plant

Grow this glorious golden rose with an unusual fragrance! The delightful double blooms age to a pale buttery yellow as they mature and have an unusual myrrh scent. The repeat-flowering blooms of this showy floribunda variety form in golden clusters above a cloak of dark green foliage, offering plenty of colour throughout the summer months. Plant Rose 'Absolutely Fabulous' in patio pots or towards the front of sunny borders. The stems make delightful cut flowers and last well in a vase indoors. Bare root roses will arrive trimmed back, ready for the new season, they will exhibit little signs of growth on arrival with possibly some buds in view. The bare roots should be planted as soon as possible in the ground as long as the soil is not frozen or waterlogged, if this is the case, do not allow the roots to dry out, place in a large container and cover with damp compost, or wrap the roots in damp cloth. Plant bare root roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well-drained soil. Dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
