Elaeagnus x ebbingei 'Viveleg' is hardy, tough and reliable, even in challenging coastal locations, making it a useful screening plant, hedge or stand-alone specimen shrub. You’ll love the colourful evergreen variegated foliage with bright gold margins of this vigorous, upright shrub, which offer year-round colour and interest. For added interest, each autumn 'Viveleg' produces small white flowers which produce a light fragrance. These are well-established plants that are ready to be planted straight out into final positions unless your garden soil is frozen or waterlogged. All are supplied at the optimal size for instant effect. Grow Elaeagnus shrubs in any type of soil, as long as it is well-drained. Although plants can be a little discoloured on chalky soils.
