This attractive Aster brings a welcome splash of colour to our herbaceous borders, long after other perennials have died back. Samoa produces masses of beautiful purple-blue daisy-like flower heads, and is a particular favourite for gardens which are low maintenance, as they are easy to care for. It is very attractive to pollinating insects so will entice bees and butterflies. Plant Daisy plants into fertile, moist, well drained soil, and situate them in full sun or semi shade. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting.
