Apples have a complex, aromatic flavour and are juicy and sweet with a typical mellow 'Cox' taste – which improves with storage – and a deep red flush. Fruits are excellent for eating and juicing, plus they store well! Trees will set great fruits without a pollinator on an easy-to-control semi-dwarf tree with medium vigour. Height 3m after 10 years. Pollination group 3 (self-fertile). Supplied as a bare root tree.’Queen Cox’ is self-fertile but a poor pollinator of other apple varieties. It requires good conditions for fruiting.
