This set enables tradespeople to use the hinge itself as a drilling template, drilling directly through the hinge holes to ensure perfect alignment every time. Each bit features a spring-loaded sleeve with a chamfered tip that positions itself centrally in the hinge hole, eliminating the need for marking or pilot holes. The 1/4" hex shank provides secure fitment in standard drill chucks and impact drivers, whilst the self-centring design significantly reduces the risk of drill bit wandering during initial contact. The set includes three commonly-used hinge drill bit sizes: 7/64" x 87mm, 9/64" x 98mm, and 11/64" x 98mm, covering the majority of standard hinge screw requirements for kitchen cabinets, doors, and furniture assembly. Individual bits can be replaced when worn by undoing the hex head screw on the side, extending the working life of the set. A 2.5mm hex key is included for maintenance purposes.
