Program contains the active ingredient lufenuron and is available as tablets for dogs and as an oral suspension and injection for all cats, including pregnant and lactating mother, and weaned kittens. Lufenuron is an insect development inhibitor and is used to prevent the development of flea eggs and larvae. Used initially alongside an adulticide, if flea infestation is present, it provides effective environmental control of fleas.
