Avoid drinking alcohol, smoking, having a hot shower, consuming hot beverages, eating or exercising 30 minutes before measurement. Relax and rest 5 minutes before the measurement. Install the batteries. Apply the arm cuff on the left arm. If using the right arm instead, consult the instruction manual. Sit correctly and place your arm at heart level.
