What is Nurofen 24 Tablets? Nurofen 24 Tablets are a targeted pain relief medication that are formulated with Ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal, anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). These tablets provide relief from various types of pain, including headaches, dental pain, period pain, rheumatic and muscular pain, and cold and flu symptoms. What are the key features? Specifically targeted pain relief Active Ingredient: Ibuprofen Can be used by adults and children over 12 years of age Each Tablet contains 200mg of Ibuprofen and about 12.7mg of Sodium Ease of use with oral administration Ingredients What are the active ingredients? The active ingredient in Nurofen 24 Tablets is Ibuprofen (200mg per tablet). What are the other Ingredients? Ingredients Usage How to use Nurofen 24 Tablets For adults and children & adolescents between 12 and 18 years: Take 1 or 2 tablets with water, up to three times a day as required. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 12 years without medical advice. Usage Warnings Precautions to consider before using Nurofen 24 Tablets Do not take if you have a history of stomach ulcers, perforation or bleeding or are allergic to Ibuprofen, any of the ingredients, or to aspirin or other painkillers. Do not take if you are taking other NSAID pain killers or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg or are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Consult with a pharmacist or doctor if you have known health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a stroke, heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems or are dehydrated.
