Pohaku features a linear diamond patterned print and refers to all native rocks, from coral reefs to volcanic lava that form not only the core of the Hawaiian Islands but the essential building materials of the original culture. These phaku were used to create a foundation for hale (houses), kuap (fishpond walls), and heiau (temples). Coloured in a natural palette of taupes & stone, mixed with cooling ash, the reverse is a fine repeating horizontal line. The Glow embroidered cushion adds a little contrasting texture and pattern to the bed.
