The auto mode allows you to set the unit to a designated humidity level and once the air’s humidity level reaches 3% higher, the unit will turn on. Once the air drops 3% in humidity below your chosen level, the unit with turn off to save energy. In the continuous mode, the machine continues to run, but the humidity cannot be adjusted.
