The combination of the tailored Alpine Fit, with its high waistband, allows for a great range of movement and lower back coverage. The Regular Fit Ankle means these pants are incredibly versatile; whether you are walking, climbing or mountaineering, it will co-ordinate with low-volume footwear with the ankle gusted zipped up, but for a more relaxed fit you can unzip to allow room for bulkier footwear.
