Makita DDG460 18v LXT Cordless Brushless Earth Auger

The DDG460 is a cordless 36v earth auger which is powered by two 18v LXT batteries simultaneously. The included auger bit adaptors can be used to connect existing auger bits from petrol machines, and a variety of design features help to ensure maximum safety and control when using the machine: the DDG460 has two gears with forward and reverse, a variable speed trigger and a torque limiter which is designed to prevent violent kickback if the bit jams. The soft start motor and electric brake mean the machine starts up smoothly without jolting, and switches off rapidly as soon as the trigger is released. Additionally, Makita's Automatic Torque Drive technology automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition to help ensure consistent performance.
