John Guest Speedfit stem tee push-fit fitting for the connection of plastic or copper pipes. The stem tee joins two equal sized pipes with a spigot end for connecting a reduced sized Speedfit push-fit fitting, forming a swivel type connection. Simply push the push-fit fitting fully onto the pipe and twist the plastic nut clockwise to lock in place. To demount the connection, unlock the nut by hand and push the collet towards the body of the push-fit fitting and pull the pipe to release. The John Guest Speedfit stem tee is up to 40% faster to install than traditional methods and is easier to use in confined spaces by removing the need for hot works and tools.
