The ponies always call Ptolemy, the wise old owl, in their time of need. His words always end the story with a simple moral message.  Atticus the stable cat and Ketchup the cockerel feature in these charming tales and provide the bite size humour in these illustrated books, aimed at children from 4 years upwards. Jenny Henwood, the author, is giving 50p of each book sale to one of four animal charities that complement the characters in the book.</p>
