David Bowie (aladdin Sane) Mug & Sock Set, Multi

One of the UK's most influential stars David Bowie has been entertaining people for over 50 years. Rising to prominence in the 1970's he is perhaps best known for his flamboyant alter ego, Ziggy Stardust and the songs Space Oddity, Starman, Life on Mars and Let's Dance. During his long career, he released a total of 26 studio albums, was awarded nine Platinum albums and is credited with helping to usher in the glam rock era of the 70's. For his work, Bowie was entered into to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. David Bowie also appeared several times as an actor, with minor roles in Zoolander and The Prestige. His most notable appearance in cinema being his role as Jareth the Goblin King in the 1986 fantasy Labyrinth. Sadly, no longer with us, his music legacy and pop icon status lives on.
