The fabric also allowed a slimmer fit than standard so you can see where youre placing your toes. Climbing trousers need to be durable, especially if being subjected to rough Peak District grit. Cotton is a naturally hard-wearing material so was the obvious choice. We finished Bloc with a simple, low-profile elastic waistband thats easy on and comfortable with a harness.
