This also makes the Fantom highly compressible for stuffing away in rucksacks. The longer cut also stops your bum from getting chilly on long belays! The hood can be cinched right down with side and rear adjustors so that it keeps out draughts and follows your head movements. DownTek PFC-free hydrophobic down adds extra moisture resistance it loses less of its insulating loft when wet, dries quicker and is less prone to clumping. The outer shell is also treated with an PFC-free water repellent to brush off light snow and drizzle. The zipped handwarmer pockets and collar have a soft tricot lining so you can really hunker down and stay cosy when the cold bites.
