Ribble Cycles is one of the world's longest-established bicycle manufacturers, founded in Preston in 1897. Named after the River Ribble flowing through some of the UK's best cycling country, the company began fabricating steel frames during the industrial revolution. Under new ownership and leadership from CEO Andy Smallwood in 2017, Ribble has transformed into a premium British bike brand. In 2018, they launched their first e-bikes. The manufacturing facility and HQ remain in Preston, offering road, gravel, hybrid, and electric bikes.
