Alice Bow

Alice Bow is a London-based shoe accessory brand founded by former management consultant Rachel Bowditch, specialising in helping women feel comfortable in their high heels. After wondering why she couldn't find stylish shoes that looked good, fitted well, AND had padding, Rachel studied shoe making at Cordwainers (alumni include Jimmy Choo and LK Bennett) and shoe fitting. Rather than launching a full shoe label requiring £100k investment, she focused on solving the original problem – lack of padding. Alice Bow's leather insoles are handcrafted in England using the finest leather from the same family-run tanneries used by luxury shoe brands. The brand gained international attention when Vanity Fair reported that the Duchess of Cambridge was a fan.
