Founded by Sandy Alexander who noticed a lack of fashionable footwear retailers outside London, the company has grown to operate 118 stores across the UK and Ireland.
The retailer stocks over 80 leading brands including Converse, Vans, Dr. Martens, Nike, Adidas, and many more, catering to men, women, and children. Schuh has built its reputation on offering on-trend footwear with excellent customer service.
Fun fact: Schuh means "shoe" in German. The name was born when founder Sandy Alexander's colleague spotted the word "schuhe" in an industry magazine - they simply dropped the 'e'. The company was acquired by Genesco footwear retailer in 2011 for £125 million.
