Jonathan Adler is an American potter, interior decorator, and design company founded in 1993 by Jonathan Adler. After discovering pottery at summer camp aged 12, Adler studied at Brown University while spending most of his time making pots at Rhode Island School of Design. In 1990, he cold-called Barneys New York buyers and received his first order. Five years later, he expanded into home furnishings, opening his first SoHo boutique. Inspired by South American textiles found in Peru, he began designing pillows, throws, and rugs. His design philosophy is modern American glamour and eccentricity. Notable projects include styling the Parker Palm Springs Hotel in 2004. In December 2024, the brand was acquired by Consortium Brand Partners.
