Raft Furniture was founded in 1999 by Heinz Frye and Mick Quinn, who remain Managing Directors today alongside their families. They specialise in handmade sofas crafted in their North London factories and FSC certified reclaimed teak furniture from Indonesia. The reclaimed teak is salvaged from old homes, ships, and bridges, dried in solar-powered kilns. With unique Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certification, most pieces can be tracked from creation to delivery. They operate 4 showrooms including their flagship at Westfield London.
