Mattress Online is a UK bed and mattress retailer founded in 2003 by co-founders Steve Adams and Steve Kelly in South Yorkshire. Steve Kelly suggested selling mattresses online when there were almost no other online mattress suppliers, inspired by how Argos sold mattresses remotely through catalogues. Combining Adams's e-commerce and logistics experience with Kelly's beds industry knowledge, they pioneered free next day mattress delivery. After Steve Kelly retired in 2019, Martin Eastwood joined as COO bringing 11 years from Silentnight Group. With over one million mattresses delivered in 20 years, they've won the NBF Online Bed Retailer award and Large Business of the Year at Sheffield Business Awards.
