Royal British Legion Industries

Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) is a national veterans charity supporting the Armed Forces community, people with disabilities, and people who are unemployed. Established in 1919 to support servicemen returning from the Great War, RBLI has provided treatment, training, and support for over a century. RBLI is separate from the Royal British Legion both in governance and finance, receiving no funds from the annual poppy appeal. The charity fundraises independently to deliver unique services including employment, care, and housing for the Armed Forces community. Their village in Aylesford, Kent is the largest veteran village in the UK, providing homes to over 300 veterans and their families. The RBLI Shop sells iconic Tommy figures and commemorative charity products, with all profits going towards supporting Armed Forces veterans and those with disabilities. Crucially, everything sold is made or fulfilled by veterans and people with disabilities employed by RBLI. At the heart of the village is Britain's Bravest Manufacturing Company, a thriving social enterprise with an annual turnover of almost £6 million. The company employs more than 100 people, 70% of whom are veterans, people with disabilities, or both. They specialise in making signs for road and rail projects, along with wooden products such as pallets and agricultural boxes.
