Moon Roast is an award-winning specialty coffee roastery nestled in rural Hampshire, continuing a family coffee legacy spanning four generations. The story began in 2012 when Francis Bradshaw started roasting coffee in a barn after work, under the moonlight—hence the name Moon Roast. By 2017, steady growth led to a purpose-built roastery on a working farm.
The family's coffee heritage reaches back to 1900, when Francis's great-grandfather worked as a tea and coffee broker at Plantation House in Mincing Lane, London. Today, a passionate team of ten coffee lovers operates two roasters—a Probat 25 and a Loring 35—to perfect the art of small-batch roasting.
Moon Roast's dedication to quality has earned 17 Great Taste Awards and recognition as Best Local Producer by Muddy Stilettos. They source SCAE 80+ specialty-grade Arabica directly from small farms across Ethiopia, Brazil, Peru, and Colombia, ensuring fair prices and sustainable farming practices. Beyond retail, they partner with cafes and restaurants for wholesale and offer brewing courses from their roastery.
