Thornbridge Brewery

Thornbridge Brewery is an independent English craft brewery founded in 2005 at Thornbridge Hall by Jim Harrison and Simon Webster, now based in Bakewell, Derbyshire. Often described as the godfather of the UK craft beer scene, Thornbridge launched with Lord Marples, a classic bitter, and quickly gained acclaim for their Jaipur American-style IPA. With over 350 industry-recognised awards including UK Brewer of the Year 2022 and SIBA Brewery Business of the Year 2024, they've won gold medals at World Beer Awards in 2012-2015. Opening a new 30-barrel brewery in 2009, Thornbridge now operates 12 pubs and exports to 33 countries. In 2024, they recommissioned the only working Burton Union brewing set with Brooklyn Brewery support.
