The Fold London is a British womenswear fashion label founded in 2012 by Polly McMaster, a former finance executive with a PhD in molecular biology from Cambridge and an MBA from London Business School, together with co-founder Cheryl Mainland. The brand's story began when Polly couldn't find well-made workwear that felt luxurious and gave her confidence. Committed to creating a premium but practical capsule wardrobe, The Fold's offering has always been rooted in exceptional tailoring. The company launched in February 2015 from a semi-bespoke studio in Clerkenwell, opening their first store on Cadogan Place in 2018. Selected for Walpole's Brands of Tomorrow in 2016, The Fold is backed by Active Partners.
