Casablanca Paris

Casablanca was launched in 2018 by Charaf Tajer, a self-taught designer from Paris's Tenth Arrondissement with Moroccan heritage. His parents met in Casablanca in a couture atelier where his father was a tailor and mother a machinist. The brand takes inspiration from his Parisian and Moroccan roots.

Tajer previously co-founded streetwear brand Pigalle, Paris nightclub Le Pompom, and worked with Off-White and Supreme. Casablanca's aesthetic fuses lux and leisurewear - a modern reimagining of the timeless après-sport aesthetic applying Neapolitan tailoring to tennis-inspired statement pieces.

Starting with menswear, the brand has expanded to womenswear, leather goods, jewellery, eyewear, and footwear. Tajer was a joint winner of the 2020 LVMH Prize and finalist for International Woolmark Prize 2021. Casablanca is stocked at Mr Porter, Net-a-Porter, Selfridges, and has collaborated with New Balance and Bulgari.
