Emile et Rose

Emile et Rose was born in 2002 in the historic town of Topsham, Devon, established by cousins Eve and Mike. The brand offers timeless, traditional clothing and accessories for babies aged up to 23 months, continuing under the same family ownership.

The story begins earlier when Eve, as a young mother, started making clothes for her baby daughter Sarah. A local shop spotted her talent and persuaded her to fulfil an order, starting a business from her back bedroom that grew until she opened a factory in Exmouth in 1972 at just 20 years old.

Today, all design and distribution takes place at studios in Devon on a farm outside Topsham. Although just a small team of 10, they have over 100 years of collective experience. The brand is stocked in over 200 baby boutiques across the UK and Ireland, proud to be an independent, multi-award-winning British brand.
