MCoBeauty was founded by Shelley Sullivan in 2016 as an affordable spin-off of her premium brand ModelCo, which she created in 2002. The brand officially launched its current product range in 2020, quickly becoming Australia's leading luxe-for-less beauty brand. In July 2025, MCoBeauty launched in the UK exclusively at Superdrug stores and online. The 100% cruelty-free, vegan range delivers trend-focused makeup at £30 or less. Acquired by DBG Group in February 2025 in a deal valued at £740 million.
