Thrive Causemetics was founded by Karissa Bodnar in 2014 in Los Angeles, born out of friendship. When Karissa lost her dear friend Kristy to cancer at just 24 years old, she created the company's first products - an unprecedented adhesive formula and faux lashes - to serve women enduring cancer treatments.
All products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free, with "clean" formulas leaving out parabens, sulfates, phthalates, latex, and synthetic fragrance. Every product is developed at Thrive Lab in Los Angeles with significant input from customers.
Thrive Causemetics is "Bigger Than Beauty": for every product purchased, they donate to help a woman thrive through one of their 550+ nonprofit partners. Customer purchases have given back over $150 million to communities across the US, supporting women experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, cancer, and other challenges.
