Coes is a family-run independent department store founded in 1928 by William David Coe in Ipswich, Suffolk. Starting as a uniform store, the company has evolved into one of the UK's premier independent fashion retailers while remaining true to its roots as a family business. Now run by the third generation under managing director William Coe, grandson of the founder, Coes operates five stores in Ipswich, Felixstowe, Maldon, Kings Lynn, and Newmarket. Second-generation owner David Coe received the Lifetime Achievement award at the Drapers Independents Awards in 2015. Renowned for customer service and community contributions, Coes offers high-quality clothing, footwear, and accessories for men, women, and children.
